How are you Transcoding MTS files to Pluraleyes 4/3 on Mac and Wins

Have tried the Export & Render Audio workaround that was necessary for working with multipart MTS files in PluralEyes 4/3/2 but it still fails ? No worries, here is the best solution, check it out!

MTS format is a high-definition MPEG, AVC, H.264 transport stream video file format which is commonly used by HD camcorders such as Sony, Canon, Panasonic. These files are also present on Blu-ray disc compilations, therefore they are capable of storing quite a large amount of information and data. However, duing to its highly compression character, users who want to edit MTS videos with Pluraleyes 4/3/2 usually run into incompatibility issue. Or can’t edit them smoothly after taking some time for importing MTS to Pluraleyes.

Thus, when you get many MTS videos and want to edit them with Pluraleyes, it's better to take advantage of the ProRes codec on Mac OS X (El Capitan included) or WMV format on Wins (Windows 10 included).

In this try, I apply Brorsoft’s MTS/M2TS Converter for Mac and convert all my MTS files to ProRes. When I got the output ProRes files into Pluraleyes 4/3, smooth and fast workflow, saving time and effort. If you are also in such situation, or even still stick on Pluraleyes 4/3 or Pluraleyes 2, you’d better to read on to learn the workable way to import MTS to Pluraleyes.

If you're using a Windows PC, please turn to its equivalent Windows version- Brorsoft MTS/M2TS Converter , which can help you solve the MTS incompatibility on Windows XP/7/8/8.1/10.

Introducing 1080i video playback Guide on YouTube and Vimeo!

While you are trying to upload some 1080i video clip to YouTube or Vimeo for sharing, you may run into format incompatibility issues.

Source From: Converting 1080i HD for Vimeo and YouTube Playback

Question :How to convert 1080i HD for Vimeo and Youtube playback?
"I'm working on a How-to video. I'm a biologist, and I'm way out of my league on this project. I've made one video before using iMovie 09. Everything was going great until it came time to convert(?) encode(?) it so that it could be streamed from Vimeo, I recorded the footage in 1080i HD 16:9, and apparently iMovie 09 had some issues with interlaced video. Now I'm ready to convert so that it can be watched on Youtube and Vimeo. The video is 15 minutes long.Any advice or guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!"

Well, interlaced video must be correctly deinterlaced for web video delivery including Vimeo, YouTube, etc. If you're outputting 1080i, deinterlace and resize to 1280×720 before you upload. If your final outcome is a progressive medium (web, HDTVs, Blu-Ray, etc.) you might want to deinterlace before you even start editing. Below is the tutorial on how to deinterlace 1080i video for YouTube, Vimeo.

First of all, we recommend you Brorsoft Video Converter for Mac, which is the best de-interlacer for you to get rid of the interlacing effect. With the built-i n Deinterace feature, you can perfectly remove interlaces from your videos including AVCHD (MTS/M2TS/TS), MXF camcorder footage. Plus, it supports encoding camera shootings to video editing software compatible file types, i.e. MPEG-2 for Premiere Pro, DNxHD for Avid Media Composer, Apple ProRes for Final Cut Pro, AIC for iMovie, etc to meet your different needs. Of course, common video files like MOV, AVI, FLV, MKV, MPG… are also fully supported. What’s more, it is also combined with editing features cropping video size, trimming video clips and adding special effects to output videos. If you are Windows user, Brorsoft Video Converter is the alternative.

Deinterlacing and converting 1080i video files for Vimeo/YouTube:

Step 1. Load source videos

Run the video deinterlace software and click the Add button to load the 1080i videos. The 1080i videos are quickly loaded to the program.

Step 3. Deinterlace 1080i video

Click the Effect and then you will go to the Video Editor. Choose the Effect to see whether the “Deinterlace” has been chosen. If not, select it and it will help you deinterlace your 1080/60i files. Usually, the program processes the deinterlacing video option by default.

Step 4. Start to convert and deinterlace

At last, click the convert button to deinterlace 1080i MTS(or other interlaced videos) and remove the interlacing artifacts.

After the conversion, you can the get the awesome smooth deinterlaced videos for sharing on Vimeo and YouTube with ease.

Trying to Import AVCHD .mts files into Avid Media Composer 5/6/7/8 without Plug-in

I have a ton of old MTS files from my old editing system I would like to be able to pull into Avid Media Composer. However, I can't open and import these MTS to Avid Media Composer directly. Someone tells me there is a best way to convert MTS to DNxHD MOV, something ensuring best results when using .mts files in Avid. Read on to learn details.

The incompatibility of AVCHD .mts files exists among different camcorder manufacturers. Mostly, the MTS footage captured by Sony Handycam is encoded with H.264/AVC codec which does not work well with video editing software except for few ones. Despite of this, H.264 codec is acknowledged as a universal codec for camcorder videos, especially for HD contents. The advanced compression method of H.264 results in much less storage and the same picture quality comparing with MPEG-4. However, the highly-compressed content are not so friendly for editing software. Then, how to get Avid Media Composer working perfectly with AVCHD MTS footage? A best way is to convert MTS files to DNxHD mov, something ensuring maximum editing quality and efficiency when working with Avid MC.

If you have problems when using MTS files in Avid Media Composer and want to make a smooth editing, you can read on the article to learn more. Here I will outline how to transcode AVCHD MTS files to DNxHD MOV for smoothly importing and editing in Avid MC.

Converting MTS files to DNxHD MOV for Editing in Avid Media Composer

Source From: PS4 Media Player Not Reading MP4 Files- Fixed

Why PS4 media player not reading your MP4 files? The reason is that different MP4 files are encoded with different audio and video codecs. According to PlayStation support website, PS4 only supports playing MP4 files encoded with H.264/MPEG-4 AVC High Profile (AAC LC). If the MP4 video is not encoded with PS4 compatible codec, we will fail to stream MP4 to PS4 or cannot play MP4 on PS4 even if successfully transferred MP4 to PlayStation4.

To solve PS4 won't play MP4 problem, the easy and quick workaround is to encode/re-encode MP4 to PS4 compatible H.264 or MPEG-4 encoded MP4 files. Along with some help from third-party program like Brorsoft Video Converter (available for Windows and Mac), you can achieve your goal effortlessly.
